Our MEMS gyroscope portfolio includes analog and digital output, high vibration and shock immunity, and temperature sensitivity control to 25 ppm/°C. Measure an object’s rotation in °/sec over a wide dynamic range and bandwidth while leveraging our expertise to jumpstart your next design.
Inertial Measurement Units (IMU)
Analog Devices inertial measurement unit (IMU) sensors are based on multiaxis combinations of precision gyroscopes, accelerometers, magnetometers, and pressure sensors. Our technology reliably senses and processes multiple degrees of freedom, even in highly complex applications and under dynamic conditions. These plug and play solutions include full factory calibration, embedded compensation and sensor processing, and a simple programmable interface.
Magnetic Field Sensors
Analog Devices magnetic field sensors combine integrated bulk Hall cell technology and instrumentation circuitry to minimize temperature related drifts associated with silicon Hall cell characteristics. The architecture maximizes the advantages of a monolithic implementation while allowing sufficient versatility to meet varied application requirements with a minimum number of components.
Optical Sensing Technology
Analog Devices optical sensing devices achieve very high signal-to-noise ratios at the lowest power in the industry, making them ideal for battery-operated applications. Our portfolio covers the widest range of wavelengths available in an IC form factor, ranging from UV all the way up to 1600 nm in the near IR for your healthcare, automotive, and industrial applications.
Our solutions meet differing size and configuration requirements, such as
Optical Mixed Signal Devices (Light in – digital out)
Discrete analog front ends for photodiodes, including LED signal conditioning
Complete optical module solutions containing the AFE, photodiode, and LEDs
Optical Sensors (Light in – analog out)
High performance photodiode solutions
Temperature Sensor and Control Devices
Analog Devices temperature sensor devices sense and measure temperature with precise accuracy and reliability. Our temperature sensor products support an analog output and a digital output format to suit a large array of end applications in all traditional markets such as industrial, communications, and automotive, as well as emerging areas such as digital healthcare.
Analog Devices temperature sensors achieve up to ±0.1°C measurement accuracy over a wide temperature range, are NIST traceable, and are plug-in ready, often requiring no additional signal conditioning or calibration. Additionally, ADI digital temperature sensors may integrate other functions such as DACs, ADCs, references, and limit alarm registers. A range of interfaces are available, including I2C, SPI, and PWM (for digital products) and current and voltage (for analog products).
Analog devices temperature sensor devices come in a large variety of package options including ceramic and metal packages for increased robustness, and plastic and WLCSP for applications where sensor size is critically important.
All temperature sensors manufactured by Analog Devices are tested and calibrated in production, eliminating the need for post-assembly system calibration.
