Analog Switches Multiplexers
Analog Devices offers a comprehensive portfolio of switches and multiplexers covering single to multiple switch elements with various signal ranges in a variety of packages to best suit customer application needs. ADI switches and multiplexers are used in a wide and growing range of applications from industrial and instrumentation to medical, consumer, communications, and automotive systems.
Buffered Analog Crosspoint Switches
Analog Devices video crosspoint switches are used primarily for routing high speed signals, including composite video (NTSC, PAL, SECAM) and component video (YUV, RGB) in applications such as studios, video on demand, in-flight entertainment, surveillance, and video teleconferencing.
Buffered Analog Multiplexers
Analog Devices’ leading edge multiplexers offer multiple configurations from four channels to 32 channels in standard plastic packages, as well as in space saving LFCSP and WLCSP packages. Ron performance is industry best, with the ADG708 series muxes offering 2.5 Ω typical and ADG804 series < 1 Ω guaranteed over the full voltage range and temperature specification.
Digital Crosspoint Switches
Analog Devices’ X-stream™ family of digital switches includes high speed crosspoint and 2:1 mux/demux switches. These switches are ideal for WDM, enterprise, and metro networking systems commonly employed by Internet service providers, data centers, telecom central offices, and storage area networks. These switches are also suited for broadcast video applications.
Level Translators
ADI’s level translators offer the most flexible level translation solutions in the industry. The ADG3241 series translators allow direct 3.3 V to 1.8 V translation by means of the innovative SEL pin function while allowing bidirectional data transfer. The ADG3231 series allows wide range 1.65 V to 3.6 V translation and the ADG3308 series allows the industry's widest 1.2 V to 5.5 V up or down translation while permitting bidirectional data transfer.
MEMS Switches
Analog Devices’ RF-MEMS switches offer excellent reliability with superior precision and RF performance from 0 Hz (DC) to 14 GHz. They require only a low-voltage, low-current power supply and have a fully independent parallel logic control interface. They are offered in standard surface-mount space saving LFCSP plastic packages.
RF Switches
ADI offers a wide range of high performance RF switches that are ideal for instrumentation, communications, military and aerospace applications. Manufactured in GaAs and Silicon (SOI) processes, RF switches feature higher power handling, better linearity and wider frequency band of operation compared to their CMOS counterparts. ADI’s new Silicon (SOI) RF switches offer unmatched performance in compact SMT form, which attains superior insertion loss, improved isolation, wider bandwidth and faster switching/settling times than any other solution.
Robust Switches and Multiplexers
Analog Devices’ portfolio of robust switches and multiplexers includes products that can be used for overvoltage protection, power off protection, high ESD, and latchup proof performance in applications such as automotive, instrumentation, aerospace, and defense. As well as being optimized for robustness and protection, they offer high performance in industry-leading small packages.
Unbuffered Analog Crosspoint Array
Analog Devices video crosspoint switches are used primarily for routing high speed signals, including composite video (NTSC, PAL, SECAM) and component video (YUV, RGB) in applications such as studios, video on demand, in-flight entertainment, surveillance, and video teleconferencing.
